A GALA EVENT
Celebrating the Golden Era of the 70’s and 80’s
and supporting two organisations dedicated to funding research and support programs for patients with brain and other rare cancers:
The White Pearl Foundation and The Cquence Foundation.
An evening of nostalgia, community spirit, and philanthropy.
SATURDAY 30 NOVEMBER 2024 – 6:30PM
HYATT REGENCY SYDNEY
On behalf of the Golden Era Re-union team, we express our deep appreciation for your attendance and support of our event.
Your contribution generated profit of over $180,000, which will go directly to supporting those challenged by a cancer diagnosis and their families.
Cquence Foundation will donate $90,000 from this event to the Prince of Wales Hospital, Cancer Survivorship Centre in Randwick. The Centre provides a range of evidence based and research driven cancer survivorship programs and services to support the health and wellbeing of people living with and beyond cancer.
White Pearl Foundation will direct $90,000 to the brain cancer research program of The Brain Cancer Group (TBCG), St Leonards. TBCG is dedicated to funding cutting-edge research that will help us better understand brain cancer and develop new treatments. TBCG’s research efforts focus on the development and translation of new ways of treating brain tumours, while also seeking to better understand the genetic and environmental factors that contribute to the development of brain tumours.
Your generosity and enthusiasm made the evening truly memorable. We invite you to relive the memories by exploring the event photos below.
We also take this opportunity to acknowledge the generous contributions of our sponsors, volunteers and donors, whose dedication was essential to the success of the evening.
Wishing all a peaceful and enjoyable Christmas season and good health in 2025.
